Life as a Continuous Exam: Navigating School Tests and Life Trials with Purpose and Fulfillment

School exams and life trials both present us with opportunities to learn and grow. School exams are structured assessments that measure our understanding of a particular subject or skill, while life trials are real-life situations that challenge us and help us to develop as individuals.

Just like in school, where we strive to perform well on our exams, in life we strive to respond effectively to the challenges that we face. The aim is not only to pass the test, but to emerge from the experience having learned something valuable and having become a better person.

In Raja yoga, the focus is on living a life that is guided by principles of compassion, self-reflection, and inner peace. This can be a difficult path to follow, as it requires us to constantly examine our thoughts, words, and actions, and to work to rid ourselves of any negative tendencies. However, the rewards of living a virtuous life are great, and the ultimate goal is to achieve a deep sense of inner peace and fulfillment.

In summary, both school exams and life trials present us with opportunities to learn and grow. By approaching both with a desire to do our best and to emerge from the experience a better person, we can develop a lifelong love of learning and a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment.
