On the illustrious day of Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023, an exceptional event unfolded as I had the distinct honor of participating in the inaugural ceremony of the Raja Yoga meditation center nestled in the serene locale of Purasai village, Cheyyar. The remarkable journey leading to the establishment of this sanctuary for spiritual contemplation was a collaborative effort by Vijaya Biofarm and Raja Yoga Trust, under the visionary guidance of the Managing Trustee, Shri M D Vijaya Kumar.
The highlight of this momentous occasion was my role as a translator for the esteemed Travancore Princess, Smt. Aswathi Thirunal Gouri Lakshmi Bayi. With grace and eloquence, I facilitated the seamless conversion of her thought-provoking speech from Malayalam to Tamil, bridging languages to convey her profound wisdom to a wider audience. Smt. Aswathi Thirunal Gouri Lakshmi Bayi's presence exuded profound simplicity, while her dignified demeanor added an aura of grandeur to the entire ceremony.
The pinnacle of the day was the opportunity to capture a photograph alongside the distinguished Queen of the Padmanabha Shetra in Trivandrum. This experience left an indelible mark, evoking a sense of honor and privilege that words can scarcely encapsulate.
As an expression of unity and harmony, the event also witnessed the sisters and brothers from Kancheepuram and Vandavasi tying Rakhi, symbolizing the bond of love and protection that transcends boundaries.
